CONTEXT
Aaline is a lighting product developed by Fishtnk Design Factory, an architecture firm based in Toronto. The product aimed to combine functionality with refined aesthetics, requiring thoughtful consideration of materials, assembly, and form.
CHALLENGE
The design needed to ensure the bulb would naturally settle into the fixture using only gravity, without extra components. Additionally, the product had to be flexible enough to adapt to future iterations. As a modular lighting system, it also needed to support multiple configurations and fit into a variety of architectural environments. The team further needed a cohesive brand identity and marketing materials to communicate the product’s value effectively.
OUR SOLUTION
We developed a series of refined 3D models, focusing on a responsive design that balanced simplicity and adaptability. The top cover of the fixture was iterated to achieve both function and form. A modern logo was created to reflect the architectural essence of the product, and a detailed product catalog was designed with rendered models and specifications. This comprehensive approach ensured a consistent and professional presentation from concept to consumer.
